Choose Colors to Depict Many Types of Birds!
These charming blocks can depict several types of birds. Fabric choices can turn them into robins, bluebirds, Halloween crows, and more. Or just go with colors and fabrics you love for beautiful variations.
The blocks are created with standard piecing. While they seem complex, they’re quite simple to make.
Add borders and finish a block off into a small pillow front or mini quilt. Or make several for a larger project.
The completed blocks, designed by Sandra Healy, are:
- Small – 6” wide x 5” high
- Medium – 12″ wide x 10″ high
- Large – 15” wide x 12 ½” high
