This pretty block was included in the 2022 Riley Blake Block Challenge. While it was intended for a sampler quilt made up of blocks from various designers, it’s lovely on its own.
A sweet heart is framed with piecing, making it perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time. We love the soft romantic colors chosen by the designer but it’s just as beautiful in any color theme.
Finish one block, with or without borders, for a lovely table or wall quilt, or a delightful throw pillow. Or combine several for a larger project.

The completed block, designed by Beverly McCullough from Flamingo Toes, is 10″ square. Since some pieces are quite small, accurate cutting and piecing will ensure the best results. Learn more about the block here.
