Clean lines create the illusion of interlaced ribbons in this beautiful quilt block. It’s a striking twist on a classic block that will be at home in many types of projects.
Feature it in a pillow cover, table runner, wall hanging, or larger quilt projects. You can also finish smaller sizes for charming coasters and potholders.
The block is created using paper piecing. It’s easy enough for beginners and fun for experienced quilters, too. You’ll find excellent FPP instructions here.
Designer Mariesa Morgan from Ten Cow Quilts provides instructions and templates for six block sizes:
- 5″ finished (5 1/2″ unfinished)
- 6″ finished (6 1/2″ unfinished)
- 8″ finished (8 1/2″ unfinished)
- 9″ finished (9 1/2″ unfinished)
- 10″ finished (10 1/2″ unfinished)
- 12″ finished (12 1/2″ unfinished)
