Quilt Your Own Fabric “Painting!”

Quilts come in many styles, fabrics and patterns, and while we love all quilts, we naturally like some more than others. We’re always impressed, however, by floral art quilts. Photorealistic renderings of flowers, when done well, make stunning quilts that show off the talent and skills of the maker.

The down side is that these gorgeous floral quilts are usually one-of-a-kind creations by talented quilt artists. You can admire them, but unlike many quilts, unless you want to draft your own pattern, you can’t replicate them.

That’s why we were thrilled to discover a pattern for this Hybrid Lily quilt.

Hybrid Lily Art Quilt Pattern

This stunning art quilt from Keepsake Quilting (instructions by Lenore Crawford) is made by fusible applique. It measures 20″ x 17″ once completed. While the colors are gorgeous, you can easily change them to match your favorite garden lily.
