Mega Hexie Place Mats and Coasters

Make a Set in Your Favorite Colors!
Big hexies make fun place mats and they stitch up quickly. You can have a set done in just a few hours.
The matching coasters add a nice touch and can be made from scraps left over from making the place mats. Together they’ll brighten any table.
Choose six coordinating fabrics for this project. We like how designer Chris Malone selected closely coordinating fabrics of the same colors for a unified look. Follow that example and choose colors you love that meld well together. The finished set will be stunning.
Once completed, the finished sizes are:
- Place mat – 16 1/4″ x 14″
- Coaster – 5 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
