One Oversized Block Makes a Stunning Quilt
It’s a Lovely Variation on a Popular Quilt Pattern!
This beautiful quilt is a single oversized block with the addition of a 5″ wide border. While it was intended as a baby quilt we think it will be wonderful on a wall or table.
The block is from the popular “Swoon” quilt from Thimble Blossoms. The blocks are 24″ square and can be used in many types of projects.
Make this project up in seasonal colors or those you’ll enjoy all year long. The example will be great for Christmas or even for spring.
The quilt, by Cheryl from Meadow Mist Designs is about 34″ square.
You’ll need the “Swoon” quilt pattern as well.
Here are more examples of the block. It’s wonderful in any color theme.
