Sparkling stars in the center of Xs give this beautiful quilt an intriguing overall design. Depending on value and color placements you can emphasize the large lattice or let it disappear.
Start with fat quarters or a half-yard bundle in colors you love. Of course, any color theme will be striking in this quilt. This is a fun project because you can give the quilt many different looks and personalities.

Large blocks separated by sashing with cornerstones make this a relatively quick project suitable for quilters of most skill levels. If you can sew accurate Flying Geese units and Economy blocks (diamond in a square) you’ll enjoy making this quilt.
