Perfect for Christmas and Other Occasions Too!

“Silver bells, silver bells, it’s Christmas time in the city.” Bells appear in Christmas songs (“Sleigh bells ring, are you listening …”), movies (“Every time a bell rings, an angel gets it’s wings.”) and are popular holiday decor.

But bells aren’t just for the holidays. There are church bells, school bells, wedding bells, the Liberty bell and more.

This pretty bell block can be used in so many projects, or just by itself as a mini quilt. Make it up in colors and fabrics for any occasion.

The bell is simple to make and will go together quickly, even for beginning quilters. The finished block, designed by Cristina of Pretty Little Quilts is 9 1/2″ x 7 3/4″. However, she added an additional 1 1/2″ border around the bottom and sides for the mini quilts shown here.
