Pretty Gift Boxes Make a Charming Pillow
Or Finish the Top Into a Table or Wall Quilt!
Little gift boxes dance across the surface of this charming Christmas throw pillow. The charcoal background makes all the colors in the little gifts pop.
While a mini charm pack of 2 1/2″ squares was used for this project, you can also use leftovers from your stash. Mixing and matching colors to make your own special version will be lots of fun.
Vertical matchstick quilting is a beautiful finishing touch. Or go ahead and quilt yours however you want.
Instructions are provided by the designer, Vanessa Goertzen from Lella Boutique, for a pillow cover that fits an 18″ by 18″ pillow form (the pillow form is intentionally a little bigger for a nice, full pillow). However, you can easily finish the top of the pillow cover into a mini quilt for your wall or table.
