This happy quilt is super easy to make, even for new quilters. The bright polka dot fabrics give it a fun and festive look. Sew one up for your table, and another to give to a new mom.

Easy rotary cutting and straight seams make this a nice project for beginning quilters. If you can cut accurately and sew consistent 1/4″ seams then you can make this quilt!

Polka Dot Party Quilt Pattern

While we love the fun colors and polka dots, this quilt would be lovely in other moods as well. Vivid floral fabrics, traditional small prints, batiks and even solids would sew up into beautiful variations. This could easily be your go-to quilt pattern for babies and other gifts.
