Scrappy Patchwork Floor Pillows are Fun to Make
It Won’t be Hard to Adjust the Size for Smaller Pillows!
Colorful patchwork pillows are wonderful for using up some of those scraps in your stash. Their large size makes them perfect for kids to lounge with on the floor. Small dogs and cats will also enjoy having their own pillows to snooze on.
Of course, you can alter the dimensions and create smaller pillows. We can easily imagine them in several colors lined up on a sofa or window seat.
The pillow covers are lined and have zippers so they can easily be removed from the pillow forms and washed.
Piecing the tops is a bit free-form, so pull out your scraps and have fun with this project. You can’t go wrong once you’ve selected the colors you want to put together for each top.
The finished pillows, designed by Virginia Lindsay of Gingercake and featured on Sew Mama Sew are 24″ to 27″. Adapt the pattern to create pillows of the size you prefer.
