Scraps of Many Styles Make a Beautiful Quilt
Your Favorite Color Combination Will Be Gorgeous In This Quilt!
A variety of prints in plaids, polka dots and more enhance the design of this beautiful quilt. This is a great pattern for using up some of those scraps so start sorting your favorites into lights and darks. Fat quarters also work well with this project.
Whether you decide to go clear and bright or more subdued is up to you, and either option will be lovely. Choose inner and outer border fabrics in colors that pull all the scraps together and give the quilt a beautiful finish.
Nearly the entire quilt is made of half-square triangles, with one light and one dark triangle in each block. Stitch this up more quickly by making 8 half-square triangles at a time. Click here for instructions.
The finished quilt, by designer Christina McCourt, is 64″ x 76″. It won’t be hard to adjust the size by adapting the number of blocks used.
