Sew Up a Striking Quilt from Scraps

Play with Color and Fabric Types to Make It Your Own!
Woven plaids set off by black create a warm and inviting quilt. This is a relatively quick project that’s perfect for scraps.
Other fabrics will be just as striking. Play with color and consider using something other than black to pull the design together. Just make sure there’s enough contrast between the pieced blocks and the accent fabric so the overall design pops.
Instructions are provided by the designer, Karen Bennett from Nellie’s Needle Quilts, for quilts in seven sizes.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
