Large double-star blocks made up in cheerful prints create a beautiful quilt. The closely spaced curvy quilting provides lots of texture for a delightful finish.
The large stars alternate with fabric squares for a design that goes together quickly. This is a great quilt for showcasing a few larger-scale prints mixed with several small-scale ones.
The wide variety of fabrics from one fabric line produces an endearing coordinated scrappy look. However, the quilt will be just as beautiful given full scrappy treatment in any color theme. It’s also great for using up fat quarters already in your stash.
Once completed, the quilt designed by Sherri McConnell from A Quilting Life is 66 1/2″ x 78 1/2″.
