Youthful Motifs Give it a Special Touch!
This pretty quilt is perfect for a child, or make it up in stronger colors and grownup fabrics for a lap quilt. It could even be displayed on a table.
Fussy cut motifs for the centers of the blocks, like the cute bunnies in the example. Or showcase a pretty fabric, a bit of a vintage linen or even embroidered or appliqued squares. This pattern gives you many options for being creative with fabric selection.
The soft colors chosen by the designer are so pretty, especially for a child. We can easily imagine it in bright colors with super hero prints, too.
You may want to choose bolder colors for an adult lap quilt. Any pleasing color combination and fabric styles will be wonderful in this easy pattern.
The pattern, from Carried Away Quilting, is for a 57″ x 57″ quilt.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
