Stars Dazzle in This Eye-Catching Quilt

| July 25, 2019 | Quilt Ideas
It’s a Great Project for Scraps!
Black sets off scrappy stars beautifully in this wonderful quilt. The dazzling stars seem to shimmer against a night sky.
Other backgrounds will be lovely too. White produces an equally beautiful quilt but go with whatever color works best with the fabrics you choose for the stars.
Start with scraps or leftover 2 1/2″ strips in a variety of fabrics. Construction is simpler than it may seem – no Y seams involved!
The Sidekick ruler or Super Sidekick ruler will make short work of cutting fabric for this quilt. Or create plastic templates from those included in the pattern.
Instructions are provided for quilts in 5 sizes (designed by Julie from Jaybird Quilts):
- Baby – 41″ x 48″
- Youth – 49″ x 60″
- Lap – 55″ x 72″
- Twin – 69″ x 84″
- Queen – 97″ x 96″
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
