A Lovely Quilt in Autumn Colors, Too!
Apples take center stage in this charming quilt. Youthful fabrics make it even more appealing, whether you’re making it to give or for yourself. It’s sized for a baby quilt but can be used in any number of ways around the house.
Imagine this quilt made up in rich autumn colors. It will be beautiful on your wall or table during the fall, or even all year around. You can easily add more blocks for a larger version to use as a throw or on a bed.
The pattern, by Nadra Ridgeway of Ellis & Higgs, includes instructions for a throw pillow made from one apple block. We’d be inclined to turn the pillow top into a wall hanging to display during autumn.
The apple blocks are pieced, making this easier to construct than it looks.
The finished quilt is 36″ x 47″ and the pillow is 16 x 16″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
