They’re Great Mug Rugs Too!

These lovely little quilts were designed as potholders but would look wonderful grouped together on a wall. They’d make fun mug rugs, as well.

Regardless of how you use them, these little quilts are super quick to make and utterly charming.

Town Square Potholders Pattern

Switch out the fabrics to match your decor, or choose colors to suit the season. You probably already have fabric scraps on hand that you can use for this project.

These potholders are super easy to make. Even a beginning quilter will whip them up quickly. Once you get started you’ll have several made in no time.

While you’re at it, make extras for gifts. These little patchwork beauties will be welcomed by anyone who appreciates quilts!

The finished size of these little quilts is 8″ x 8″. There are four patterns to choose from in the pattern pack. Make all 4, or make up several in your favorite version.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
