These Decorative Fabric Boxes are Pretty and Useful

| Style Them to Fit Any Room!
Whimsical details turn handy fabric baskets into little works of art. Choose whatever combination of size, decoration and color that works best with how and where you want to use the baskets.
They will be great in the sewing room and elsewhere around the house. They also make lovely gifts filled with something the recipient will enjoy.
Plus, they’re easy to make, even for beginners, and go together quickly. Touches of 3D applique and embroidery provide the pretty finishing touches.
Instructions are provided by the designer, Chris Malone, for baskets in three sizes:
- Large Basket – 15 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ x 6
- Medium Basket – 11 1/2″ x 10″ x 5″
- Small Basket – 9 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ x 4
You’ll find the “Floral Fabric Baskets” pattern in Annie’s Weekend Sewing. It includes several other projects that we look forward to making.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
