Make something fun for Halloween with these darling mini quilt blocks. Sawtooth stars are dressed up for the season with cute ghost, witch hat, and pumpkin motifs.
Make one or all three small blocks to use in many types of projects. Or combine several for a quilt.
The centers are created with foundation paper piecing (you’ll find excellent FPP instructions here). While they’re small, they sew together quickly and easily. If FPP is not your thing, you can fussy cut squares for the star centers and create charming blocks for Halloween or any season.
Cali from Easy Piece Patterns provides templates and instructions for mini blocks in all three designs that measure 4″, 6″, and 8″. Instructions are also included for flipped versions, allowing the center squares to face either direction for variety.
