This Anniversary Quilt is Truly a Masterpiece
There Are Many Thoughtful Details to Enjoy Over and Over Again!
A great deal of thought, creativity and effort went into this spectacular anniversary quilt. It was made by Susan Stewart for her parent’s 50th wedding anniversary.
She included 52 photo transfers from 5 generations of family members, as well as a crocheted piece made by her father’s aunt. There’s also a machine embroidered rose and the names of various family members.
The many parts all came together beautifully in the quilt, giving her parents and family an heirloom to enjoy for generations to come. The bookcase setting works perfectly to pull together all the components.
Careful color placement moves the eye around the quilt, while the astonishing amount of detail means there’s always something new to discover.
