This Beautiful Case is Great for Projects and Travel
Feature Favorite Fabrics Inside and Out!
This beautiful train-style case can be used for projects or as a travel bag. Make it up in beautiful fabrics or create some patchwork for the outside of the case (instructions not included).
We can easily imagine a simple horizontal strip of patchwork squares inserted into the bottom section of the bag. Fusible-appliqued shapes would also be lovely on the case. Or simply feature a beautiful print as the designer has done.
The body of the bag is quilted with foam stabilizer so it retains its shape. A double-ended zipper makes it easy to open and close, and the inside seams are bound for a neat finish.
Designer Mekaela Ferrero from Ruby and Belle provides instructions for a 9 7/8” w x 6 3/4” d x 7 1/8” h case (not including handle).
Experienced quilters may want to design their own patchwork version.
