This Delightful Pillow is Perfect for the Nursery

A sweet bunny with a bird perched on its tail is circled by a charming wreath of flowers in this beautiful pillow. While it was designed for the nursery, the delightful design is also perfect for spring.
Make the charming pillow or finish the top into a wall or table quilt. Soft colors in a scrappy combination are delightful and give the quilt a vintage feel, or use a bolder color palette if you prefer.
The appliqued pillow from Tilda’s World was made from Tilda fabrics. You’ll find many to choose from here, or raid your scrap bin for a pretty combination.
Hand applique is specified in the instructions, but you can create your own with fusible applique. If you choose that option, don’t add seam allowances when cutting out the shapes.
In the following photo, we strengthened the colors in Photoshop to show how bolder colors might look.
Additional animal shapes are included in the pattern so you can create your own design. There’s a cat, a dog, a sitting rabbit, and a cute elephant to mix with the running hare and bird.
The completed pillow measures 20½” x 16½”.
