Pockets Large and Small Hold Everything You Need for a Project!

This cleverly designed sewing station has many features that make it a great organization tool for any sewing space. First, it serves as a sewing mat for the machine with a handy drop-down panel with pockets for tools. The tools are easy to access without getting in your way.

A removable pouch at the bottom of the panel holds clips, thread, and other small items (even your reading glasses!). You may want to make more than one to hold items specific to each project you’re working on.

Secondly, the mat has several larger pockets for your project, pattern, rulers, and more under where the machine sits. When you’re ready to clear the table for dinner or head to class, just pause your project, tuck your tools away, and fold the station up — securing it firmly with the closure ties.

Since the station can store everything you need for a project, you can create an instant sewing space wherever you may be. Just unfold the sewing station, remove your project, pattern, ruler, and notions from the pockets in the mat, then place your sewing machine on top and you’re good to sew!

Designed by Ali Phillips from Arabesque Scissors, the completed station is:

  • Open – 24″ x 16″
  • Folded – 8″ x 16″

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
