There’s a Matching Trivet Too!
This oversized hot pad is perfect for extra-large casserole dishes and glass pans. Plus it will decorate your table every year for 4th of July picnics and barbeques.
It can also be used as a placemat for your summer table (made with batting instead of heat-proofing insulation). Since it goes together quickly you can soon have a set with one for every place setting.
You may already have red, white, and blue fabric in your stash that can be used for this quick project. Quilt-As-You-Go makes it easy enough for beginners.
The completed hot pad, from Deb’s Days Designs, is 12” x 16”.
Deb also has a matching trivet that can double as a pot holder. It’s made with the same quick and easy QAYG method and measures about 9 ½” x 9 ½”.
