Choose a gorgeous floral fabric to feature in this softly romantic quilt. Once you have that, select fabrics for the blocks that match colors in the floral print. The result is a lovely quilt that’s reminiscent of simpler times

This quilt is also easy to sew together. The unique scallops within the blocks come from simple applique while the scallop border is pieced. The result is unusual and quite beautiful!

“Fancy Joy” by Ladylike Designs was designed as a Christmas quilt, but we’d use it all year around. The finished quilt measures 48″ x 48″, lap quilt size. It would be gorgeous draped over a table or the back of the sofa. We might even be tempted to hang it on a wall.
