Large or Small, This Quilt Makes a Profound Impact!
This stunning quilt is based on art by Cass Moore. The designer, Elsie Montgomery, has made a pattern available for a square version. It can be enlarged and divided into three panels if you wish to do so.
The version shown below is 84″ wide and hangs in the foyer of Elsie’s church. We can only imagine how stunning it is.
The quilt is made up of pieces of batik fabrics fused to a black background. Raw edge applique means this quilt is not hard to make but it will take some time to place and fuse all of the pieces. Your time will be well spent as in the end you’ll have an awe-inspiring quilt to enjoy and share.
The pattern is for the quilt shown above, which is 36″ wide. It’s available as both a digital and a printed pattern. Learn more about the quilt at Elsie’s website.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
