It’s a Great Lap Quilt, Too!
Jelly roll strips make this charming quilt a breeze to construct. It’s perfect for a baby gift or enjoy its cheerful nature as a lap quilt. It will also be lovely on a rectangular table.
Start with a new pack of 2 1/2″ strips or go through your stash and pull out leftovers. It will be fun playing with colors and fabric styles to make your own memorable rendition.
The quilt pictured here relies on color contrast, employing colors within a fairly limited value range. Keep that in mind as you’re selecting your fabrics. A wider value range will have a totally different effect.
Once completed, the quilt is 38″ x 50″.
