This Rail Fence Quilt is a Breath of Fresh Air

It’s a Quick and Easy Project, Too!
Pre-cut 2 1/2″ strips give this easy quilt a scrappy look. Choose a jelly roll for a coordinated variety of fabrics, or use up leftovers from your stash.
Choose one fabric, like the green strips in this version, to provide a dominant color and pull everything together.
Select a variety of fabric styles, too. A few plaids, ginghams and polka dots will contribute to a light-hearted feel.
This is a super easy quilt to make, even for beginning quilters. Have fun selecting fabrics and then get to stitching. You’ll have this finished up quickly.
In fact, this is an excellent pattern for whenever you want to make a quick-to-complete quilt.
The finished quilt, from designer Tricia Lynn Maloney, is 57″ x 57″.
