4 Stars Within Stars Make Up the Design!

A star (in a star, in a star, in a star) creates a striking design for this eye-catching medallion quilt. For full effect, display the quilt on a wall, or on a table if you don’t have wall space.

This is a fun pattern because you can easily change the look by using contrasts to emphasize various parts of the design. In the example, white stars stand out against darker prints, starting soft in the center and becoming bolder as they get larger, but you can mix it up however you want.

One easy way to customize the quilt is to use another color instead of red. Plus, any other color theme will be stunning, as long as you retain the value contrasts. Use yardage or scraps for your version.
