This Sweet Little Quilt is Great for a Table or Wall

This pretty little wall or table quilt features a charming pinwheel that’s easy to construct. Hand quilting is a lovely accent, adding to the quilt’s charm.
It will be wonderful in any color palette, including seasonal colors. It’s easy to imagine it in Christmas colors as well as those for other times of the year.
Instructions are provided for larger sizes, too. Make the design up as a baby quilt or even a throw. Notice in the following example how the center pinwheel can look like a star.
The finished quilt sizes, designed by Jennifer Jones from Penelope Handmade Shop, are:
- Pillow or Mini Quilt – 20″ x 20″
- Baby or Wall Quilt – 40″ x 40″
- Throw Quilt – 64″ x 64″
A companion pattern uses the same block to create multi-block quilts in 5 sizes:
- Baby – 38” x 38”
- Throw – 56” x 74”
- Twin – 74” x 92”
- Queen – 92” x 110”
- King – 110” x 110
