Umbrellas dance across the surface of this delightful quilt. The wide variety of fabrics make it even more fun, and one to enjoy every spring or all year long.
A fat eighth bundle plus a few fat quarters provide the variety. That also makes fabric selection easy. Or, put together a nice combination from your stash.
The umbrellas are appliqued using two different and easy methods, one for the umbrellas and another for the handles.
The finished quilt, from Thimble Blossoms, is 56″ x 70″.
A mini version of the same quilt is also available. It’s great for using up leftovers from the big quilt or put together another combination of fabrics. Hang it on a wall or display it on a table.
The little quilt is 8″ x 10″, although you can change the size by adjusting the number of blocks.
