Use Scraps for This Beautiful Quilt with Hearts
There’s a Matching Mug Rug Too!
Modified Log Cabin blocks create beautiful hearts in the center of this charming little quilt. This is a great project for scraps, while a pretty print used in the outer border will tie everything together.
Display the quilt on a table or wall every Valentine’s Day or all year long. It’s also lovely for Christmas and will make a thoughtful gift any time of the year.
Other color palettes will also be lovely. It’s easy to imagine the quilt is blues, violets, and even greens for St. Patrick’s Day. We played a bit in Photoshop to show how it could look in other colors.
Fully illustrated instructions make the quilt doable for quilters of all skill levels. Plus, it’s a relatively quick project that you can complete in just a few hours.
