A Great Pattern for Recycling Mens Shirts!
A beautiful array of plaids make a stunning quilt. Men will love this quilt and most women will too. Soften the colors for a quilt anyone will enjoy.
The black center squares and border set off the vibrant prints beautifully. However, another color may work better with your color scheme. For example, we can easily imagine this made up predominantly in blues.
Select a variety of fat quarters or reclaim fabric from mens shirts. Flannel fabrics will be wonderful, too, making the quilt extra cozy.
This quilt is so easy to make that you may want to create several in varying color and fabric combinations. It’s a great pattern for when you need to finish a quilt quickly, and for beginning quilters.
The pattern, from Oak Tree Quilts, is for a finished 81″ x 92″quilt.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
