Vivid Hues Make a Stunning Stained Glass Window Quilt

Put Ombre Fabric to Spectacular Use!
Colorful patches with black sashing are stunning in this quilt. The glowing result is reminiscent of a stained glass window.
This is the perfect project for ombre fabric or select brilliant colors in low-contrast tone-on-tone prints. Solids will be lovely too. Go as vivid or subdued as you want with the colors. Just about any shade pops next to black.
Strip piecing speeds construction and ensures that all the blocks go together nicely. A creative straight-line machine quilting design is a great finish.
The finished quilt, designed by Angie Milligan, is 53″ x 66″.
You’ll find a nice selection of ombre fabrics here.
