There’s a Baby Version, Too!
Do your toes tend to get chilly during cold weather? Cozy Abella slippers are just the thing to keep them warm and toasty all season long.
Choose a fabric you love for the outside and a thick minky or sherpa fabric for the lining. Quilting cotton, ultrasuede, and other fabrics like sturdy light canvas can be used for the outsides.
The pattern, designed by I Think Sew Design, is for women’s sizes 5 – 11.
The same design is available for baby sizes 1 – 5. A cute novelty print will be darling for these.
If your ankles get cold too, consider the 1210 Vina slipper boots. They’ll keep your feet and ankles extra cozy all winter. They’re also available for women’s sizes 5 – 11.
A rubber gripper sole can be added to all versions of these easy slippers. They all make wonderful gifts, too, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself making more than one pair.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you! PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
