Get Perfect Half-Square Triangles Every Time
Quilters at All Levels Can Benefit from These Great Tips!
Half-square triangles (HSTs) are important building blocks for many quilts and quilt blocks. Often they can make or break a quilt and, unfortunately, while they look simple, it’s easy to end up with wonky HSTs.
Quilters will want to master them in order to produce consistently matching points and other joins. Whether you’re new to quilting or have been quilting for awhile, if you sometimes produce wonky HSTs you’ll appreciate the excellent instructions provided by Karen Brown from Just Get it Done Quilts.
Watch as Karen walks you through the process in the following video. She provides many excellent tips that will benefit even experienced quilters. We appreciate that she explains the why behind every how, providing a more thorough understanding of what can go wrong and how to prevent it. She’ll help you refine your technique regardless of which of the many available methods you use for making HSTs.
