Make a Hanging Mail Organizer from Pretty Prints
It’s Great for Sewing Room Storage Too!
Are you tired of piles of mail collecting here and there? This attractive fabric organizer is a great way to keep incoming and outgoing mail organized.
Hang it on a wall in a convenient place near the door. You may also want one for your home office. The organizer works nicely to store patterns and such for current projects in the sewing room as well (minus the mail labels).
Start with a nice combination of fabric and a 12″ x 24″ pre-stretched artists canvas to give the organizer structure. You’ll need a glue gun, staple gun, spray adhesive, 1″ cotton twill tape, heavy double-sided fusible interfacing (fusible on both sides) and 3 metal label holders.
Anna Graham from Noodlehead provides an excellent tutorial. The finished organizer is 12″ x 24″, although it won’t be hard to adjust the size to suit your needs.
