This Bag is Great for Sewing Supplies and More
Make More Than One for Various Uses!
You’re sure to find many uses for this cleverly designed organizer. The handy pockets make it great for take-along sewing projects. Make another one for the remote, your glasses, and other necessities to keep near the couch. It also will make a wonderful makeup bag and can be used for many other things as well.
The organizer stands up on its own and has pockets around the outside as well as six more inside. It’s great for keeping tools and other items handy. Cut-out handles snap closed to keep everything inside secured.
Start by selecting two or three coordinating fabrics. Flex foam stabilizer, such as ByAnnies Soft and Stable, and medium weight fusible interfacing (such as Pellon SF101) give the bag structure.
If you don’t want to quilt the body of the bag, use a double-sided fusible foam stabilizer instead of the ByAnnies Soft and Stable and simply fuse the interior and exterior together. Two magnetic snaps keep it closed.
The finished bag, designed by Caroline from Sew Can She, is 8’’ tall, 10 1/2’’ wide, and 5 1/2’’ deep.
