Create the Look of Needlepoint in This Striking Quilt

It Will be Stunning in Whatever Colors You Choose!
This beautiful quilt reminds us of needlepoint embroidery reimagined in patchwork. Squares of solid fabrics are arranged on a dark background to create the eye-catching floral design.
Display it on a wall where it will make a stunning impact. While it’s throw-sized, it will also be lovely spread on a bed over a plain bedspread. Or drape it over the sofa for a beautiful burst of color.
While the quilt was designed around a particular fabric line, solid fabrics from any designer will work nicely. For best results, pay careful attention to values as you have fun putting together your own color combination.

The quilt is constructed from 2″ squares, which make it easy to cut and sew. The biggest challenge may be ensuring that all the pieces end up in the right spot. It pays to be super organized when cutting and sewing together pieces for this quilt.

The completed quilt from Tilda’s World is 63 ½” x 81 ½”.
A similar design, also available from Tilda, is stunning in chambray pastels. Of course, it will be just as lovely in solid prints from any fabric line.
It’s as simple to make as the original, and the completed quilt is the same size, 63 ½” x 81 ½”.
The fabrics used, Tilda’s Chambray Basics, are available here and here.
