Use This Tactic With Other Colors, Too!
Traditional blue, white and golden yellow are updated with black accents in this lovely quilt. The black contrasts make the other colors pop and strengthen the overall personality of the quilt. It’s a beautiful combination.
Of course, this gorgeous design will be wonderful in other colors as well. For example, red, white, mint green and soft black will make a lovely Christmas quilt.
Pieced squares and Flying Geese units make the blocks fairly simple to construct. Make four Flying Geese units at a time using this method to speed the process.
The finished quilt, designed by Marianne Fons, is 63″ x 78″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
