Teacups and mugs create a charming quilt. Enjoy it in your kitchen or anywhere around the home.
The colors selected by the designer were chosen for the holidays. However, we can easily imagine this in a delft blue theme, or rose and green reminiscent of summer tea parties.
Other coordinated color combinations will be wonderful, too. Or make it up in small-scale scraps for a more vintage look. Also consider varying the fabric styles. Florals will be perfect for a tea party theme.
Two simple blocks make up the quilt. Combine them, as shown here, or use all mugs or all tea cups. The blocks can also be used in other projects. We can imagine a table runner, mini quilt, or blocks added to other projects.
The finished quilt, from SaraRose Quilts, is 42 1/2″ x 42 1/2″. Display it on a wall or use it as a lap quilt. Or, add more blocks for a larger quilt.
