Create a Beautiful Quilt or Runner from Batiks
Other Prints Will be Wonderful, Too!
Subtle autumn-colored batiks come together in an elegant runner to enjoy every fall or all year long. Other colors will be just as lovely so go with what you enjoy most.
Bolder colors will be striking, or stay with more subtle prints to achieve something similar to the pretty runner shown here (you’ll find a nice selection of batiks here).
The runner is made using blocks from a larger quilt. Simply create one row of three blocks and finish that up for the 12.5″ x 36.5″ runner. Learn more about the runner, from Connie Kresin Campbell, here.
Instructions are provided by the designer for quilts in two sizes. The 47″ x 47″ version with three rows of blocks will make a lovely wall or table quilt.
The four-row, 47″ x 59″ version is perfect for a crib or throw. Or add more blocks for a larger quilt.
