Cute elephants parade across this darling quilt making it perfect for babies and young kids. It provides many options for creative “coloring” as well.
The clever use of a monochromatic color theme gives the body of the quilt the look of a large plaid. Choose a color you love and play that up, or get creative with your own interpretation.
We can easily imagine the quilt in crayon colors, as well as given a scrappy treatment. It’s a fun pattern to play with. Just for fun, we’ve tweaked it a bit in Photoshop to show it with stronger colors but feel free to take it in another direction entirely.
More traditional multi-colored palettes work nicely too.
The quilt is an easy one to make, too, even for beginning quilters. The easy piecing and fusible applique elephants will go together fairly quickly.
