A Sweet Gift for Someone Special!
A pretty heart surrounded by patchwork makes a lovely little quilt for your table or wall. Use it as a mug rug, candle mat or a table or wall accent. While it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, it will make a charming addition to your decor all year long.
The “love” label is a nice finishing touch. However, the quilt will be pretty without it if you prefer to skip that detail.
The mini quilt’s unusual shape is wonderful, too. Click here for instructions for binding those corners.
You may already have everything you need in your stash. Go through your leftovers and put together a lovely combination of fabrics. We love how the dark heart stands out from the other fabrics (notice how the black polka dots help it blend in). But, as always, go with what you like best.
The finished mini quilt, designed by Jacquelynne at JacquelynneSteves.com, is 10 1/2″ square.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
