This Will be Gorgeous in Scrappy 1930’s Reproduction Prints, Too!
Beautiful blue and green prints really pop against the white background of this lovely quilt. Rising Star blocks with a star within a star alternate color placement to add interest to the overall design.
This fresh quilt will be lovely in other colors, too. Choose a variety of small-scale prints in two coordinating colors to display against the background. Red and purple, or pink and lavender, come immediately to mind.
We can also imagine it made up in red and green for the holidays. Larger scale prints will give it a fun modern look.
The pattern, by Nancy Mahoney, is sized for a twin size quilt at 68″ x 80. Additional blocks will turn it into a quilt for a larger bed.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
