Fresh Spring Flowers Make a Charming Runner |
Create Flowers in Your Favorite Colors!
Beautiful spring flowers make a wonderful runner to display during warming spring weather and all year long. The intricate design will be lovely in whatever colors you choose.
The flowers look like crocuses to us, so we naturally imagine them in our favorite crocus colors: deep purple with yellow tips.
They also evoke opening tulips, so just about any tulip color will be perfect. Red, lavender, or pink will be gorgeous, or mix them up for a splash of spring on your table.
While it looks complex, this runner is a relatively easy project to complete. It’s all straightforward piecing. Start now and you’ll have it completed before you know it.
The runner, from designer Diane Tomlinson, is 17″ x 34″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article).
