It’s a Great Gift Too!

This sweet little zippered pouch is both charming and functional. Use it to store earbuds and other small items. Or tuck a few treats inside for a fun little gift.

It will be lovely in any color palette and most smaller-scale fabric styles. Seasonal prints are perfect for gift-giving. We’re having fun imagining Easter and Christmas versions!

Round Zipper Pouch Tutorial

Since it’s small and quick, you can make several in a few hours. You may want to keep a few on hand for unexpected last-minute gifts throughout the year.

The finished dimensions are not provided but it appears as though the completed pouch is 4 1/2″ – 5″ across. Make yours any size you want by adjusting the size of the starting circles. The convenient hanging loop will allow you to hang it on a Christmas tree or attach it to a belt or bag. Add a pretty zipper pull charm for a lovely finishing touch.

Watch as Eilene Johnson from Simply Eilene demonstrates how it’s made. The video moves very quickly but you can pause and restart it by clicking on it. Refer to the written instructions in the right column for the details.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
