Pinwheels Make a Charming Baby Quilt
January 14, 2018 | Quilts for Babies and Kids, Table Toppers
| It’s a Lovely Table Topper Too!
Pinwheels in pretty spring colors swirl across this lovely quilt. It’s sized for a baby quilt but will be charming on a table during gray chilly days.
Coordinate colors from items already in your stash, or select a nice combination from a beautiful fabric line. While we love the pink and green theme, many other color schemes will be just as lovely.
The quilt is an easy one to make from half-square triangles. You can speed construction by making 8 of them at a time by following the instructions here.
Once completed, the quilt designed by Christina McCourt is 33″ x 39″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!

This pattern says what size to cut fabric….but, I want to make 8 HST at once. What is the finished HST blocks supposed to be.
If the finished HST size isn’t noted in the pattern, you should be able to deduce it by looking at the size of the row of square patches on the end of the quilt. I don’t have the pattern in front of me but from the picture it looks like one HST is the same width as one of those square patches. I hope this helps!
