Will be Gorgeous in Other Colors for Summer Cabins!

Put everyone in the holiday spirit with this festive lap quilt. It will be lovely draped over the sofa for snuggling during cool evenings and will lend a note of cozy Christmas cheer.

Select a variety of holiday fabrics to show off and add a row of trees across the top. Red and green are so charming, but whatever colors match your holiday decor will work just as well.

This quilt will be stunning in other color combinations as well. While it was designed for the holidays, it could easily be a summer quilt. Imagine it in greens and blues, or whatever colors appeal to you for vacationing in a cabin in the woods.

Simple piecing forms the body of the quilt. The row of trees are a bit more tricky, but only a bit. Experienced quilters will have this stitched up in no time.

The pattern, by Jocelyn Ueng for It’s Sew Emma, makes a 64 1/2″ x 80 1/2″ lap quilt.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
